Cooking

You begin cooking at Springdale. To begin cooking you need a copper pot which can be bought from the local shop at Bonavista for 15 gold or crafted at blacksmith level 1.

Cooking requires 1 fish obtained through fishing, one log obtained through woodcutting, and one pot. As you level past the required level to cook each fish the chance of burning the fish decreases.

Cooking at Springdale is available from level 1 to level 30, at which point you will have to move to Zoar. Cooking at Zoar opens at level 25 and you'll be able to cook everything here. Cooking at Dalmeny opens at level 55 and you'll be able to cook everything here.

(Side Note: Burnt fish have recently been removed from the game, so when you fail to cook a fish, it will just be removed from inventory)

Animal Fat

Animal Fat Reduces the chance of burning a fish by 2%.

At level 25 cooking you can equip the Cook book Vol 1 which is found hiking.

The Cook book Vol 1 increases the chance of successfully cooking a fish by 2%.

As you gain the appropriate level, the fish will become available to cook.
